As a former high school teacher, Starlesha witnessed firsthand the challenges young people face—from low self-esteem and academic struggles to life-altering decisions made without proper guidance. These experiences sparked her mission to create Ignite the Star Within Coaching LLC, where she helps people of all ages discover their voice and unlock their inner strength.
Finding Her Own Voice
Starlesha's journey into coaching began with her own transformation. Like many adults, she once struggled in relationships without the tools to communicate effectively—afraid to speak her truth, worried about hurting feelings, or unsure how to set healthy boundaries. Through personal growth, she discovered the tremendous power that comes from finding your voice, establishing boundaries, and prioritizing self-care. This breakthrough became the foundation of everything she teaches.
A Vision for Connection
Starlesha's vision extends far beyond individual coaching. She's passionate about creating intergenerational connections that bridge gaps between young and old. Having lost her grandparents, she deeply understands the value of shared wisdom and stories. Her programs celebrate senior voices while empowering youth, creating beautiful exchanges that benefit entire communities.

Recognizing the complex dynamics between youth and law enforcement, Starlesha creates safe spaces for dialogue and collaboration. Her unique approach brings these groups together to strengthen communication, foster understanding, and replace division with unity—creating positive stories that ripple through communities.

While she knows she can't "save" everyone, her mission is clear: create judgment-free spaces where individuals feel safe to be unapologetically themselves.
